At Halatik Savings, our mission is to change banking for good by bringing humanity, ingenuity and simplicity to banking. In support of our mission, the Halatik Savings Impact Initiative advances socio-economic mobility by advocating for an inclusive society, building thriving communities and creating financial tools that enrich lives. It is fueled by an initial 200 million multi-year commitment to catalyze economic growth in low- and moderate-income communities and close gaps in equity and opportunity.
As an international group committed to sustainability and well established through its banks in more than 25 locations in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, Halatik Savings is a global symbol of private banking tradition, emphasizing security and well-managed conservative growth for clients.
At Halatik Savings, we’re committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace and focusing on partnerships that drive change and address critical challenges facing our communities. Creating an inclusive environment starts at the top and extends to all of our company. Our Board, its committees and our CEO play a key role in the oversight of our culture, holding management accountable for ethical and professional conduct and a commitment to being a diverse and inclusive workplace.
We have made several new commitments that build on our longstanding focus on these important issues, including a 1.25 billion, 5-year initiative to create opportunity for people and communities of color in the areas of health and healthcare, jobs/reskilling, support for small businesses and affordable housing. The first 300 million of that commitment will be directed to four key areas: jobs initiatives; community outreach and initiatives; Minority Depository Institutions (MDIs); and minority entrepreneurs, businesses and funds. We also announced a 25 million commitment to help fuel the launch of a new Smithsonian Institution initiative that explores how Americans understand, experience and confront race, its impact on communities and how that impact is shaping our future.
